1. Hydroxamate (Primary Collector)

30% – 35%

The main “weapon” for rare earth recovery. Highly selective, especially effective for difficult ores such as Bastnaesite and Monazite.

2. Fatty Acid (Oleic Acid)

20% – 25%

Secondary collector. More economical, enhances mineral capture strength. Works synergistically with Hydroxamate.

3. Pine Oil (LangsonPine)

15% – 20%

Natural frother. Produces large, brittle bubbles. A core in-house advantage.

4. Glycol (Performance Enhancer)

10% – 15%

Technology enhancer. Produces finer, stronger, and more stable froth compared to pine oil alone. Also improves component solubility.

5. Tween 80 (Emulsifier)

5% – 10%

Acts as a “bridge” to blend pine oil and glycol with fatty acids, preventing phase separation during storage.

6. Solvent (Kerosene or Alcohol)

~5%

Adjusts viscosity if the solution becomes too concentrated.

TECHNICAL USAGE INSTRUCTIONS

Product: RAREFLOT RE-60 (Premium Rare Earth Flotation Solution)

1. Product Characteristics

RAREFLOT RE-60, developed with Japanese technology, is a next-generation flotation reagent combining:

Hydroxamate for powerful recovery,

Fatty Acid for enhanced selectivity,

and stable frothing performance from Pine Oil & Glycol.

  • Physical Form: Emulsified liquid, amber yellow to light brown color.
  • Application: Specialized for rare earth ores (Bastnaesite, Monazite) and non-ferrous oxide ores (Antimony, Tungsten, Tin).

2. Preparation & Dilution

Due to the presence of glycol and emulsifiers, the product dissolves well in water.

  • Recommended Dilution: Prepare a 5% – 10% solution using clean water.
  • Ratio: 1 part reagent : 10–20 parts water.
  • Benefit: Ensures faster dispersion in slurry, better mineral-reagent contact, and improved reagent efficiency.

3. Step-by-Step Flotation Process

Step 1: pH Adjustment

  • Use Soda Ash (Na2CO3) or Sodium Silicate to adjust slurry pH.
  • Optimal pH: 8.5 – 9.5 (slightly alkaline conditions maximize Hydroxamate performance).

Step 2: Add RAREFLOT RE-60

  • Feed into the Conditioning Tank.
  • Conditioning time: 3 – 5 minutes to ensure strong adsorption onto rare earth mineral surfaces.
  • No additional frother required (RE-60 already contains Pine Oil and Glycol). If more froth is desired, a small amount of pine oil may be added separately.

Step 3: Flotation Stage

  • Introduce air into the flotation cell.
  • Thanks to Glycol technology, the froth layer is fine, elastic, and highly stable, preventing breakage common with conventional pine oil.

4. Recommended Dosage

Dosage depends on ore grade. Below is the standard starting range:

6. Safety & Storage
